What you’ll need

Before you install it.

  • An Android phone running Android 7.0 or newer.
  • A screen lock: fingerprint, face, PIN, pattern or password. Kinsu uses it to protect your records, and won’t set up without one.
  • An Indian mobile number, for the one-time sign-in code.
  • Internet while you set up. After that, your records, reminders and readings work without a connection.
  • A pen. You’ll write down a 12-word recovery code during setup.

Kinsu is free to download, for adults (18+), and Android-only for now. There’s no iPhone version yet. When it launches, Google Play will be the only place to get it: we don’t share APK files.
