Delete your Kinsu Health account

This page is for the Kinsu Health app for Android, made by Kinsu Health. You can delete your account and its data from the app in about a minute, or ask us to do it if you no longer have the app.

In the app

1. Open Kinsu Health and go to Settings.
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Enter the code Kinsu texts to your mobile number. This confirms the account is yours.

Kinsu then deletes your account at our sign-in provider, the encrypted copy of your recovery key, and everything on your phone: records, documents, reminders and the keys that protect them. It happens straight away and cannot be undone.

Without the app

If you no longer have the phone or the app, email kinsu.health@gmail.com:

• Subject: Delete my Kinsu account
• Include the mobile number you signed in with.

We will call or message that number to confirm the request is yours, delete your account within 7 days, and reply when it's done.

What is deleted

• Your account at Google Firebase Authentication, which holds your mobile number.
• The encrypted copy of your recovery key, stored under your account.
• If you delete from the app: everything Kinsu holds on your phone.

That is everything we hold. Your health records are never sent to us; they exist only on your phone. If you ask us by email, we cannot reach them. Uninstalling Kinsu, or deleting your account in the app, removes them.

What is kept

Nothing, by us. Google, which runs Firebase for us, may keep deleted data in its backups for a limited time under its own deletion policy before it is erased.
